What is Type 2 Diabetes?

Still, keep in mind to manage your portions despite choosing healthy types of food. Smaller portion sizes leads to fewer calories, which means less weight gain.

For aerobic exercises, 30 minutes a day or 150 minutes a week is recommended. Moderate aerobic exercise may include walking, swimming, biking, or running. However, aerobic exercise may cause your weight to plateau. Adding two to three sessions of resistance exercises, like weightlifting and yoga, each week can help diversify your routine. In general, limit your inactivity; stand or take a small walk every 30 minutes.
